Cs137 : 20 Bq/kg
Cs134 : 10 Bq/kg
K40 : 301 Bq/kg
In Geiger counter mode and spectrometry mode.

Background measurement

In order to measure low radiation sample, measurement must be carried on in a full fledged shielding environment built with 5cm thick lead blocks and 1mm copper plate.
Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the state of the empty shielding box before putting the sample.

An empty lead shielding box showed 7.73CPM, 0.001351μSv/h. Environmental radiation seems to be well blocked.

Sample measurement

Measure the sample in the full fledged shielding environment built with 5cm thick lead blocks and 1mm copper plate.

In Geiger counter mode, radiation dose became 0.00440μSv/h. It's significantly higher compared to background measurement, 0.001351μSv/h, and existence of radiation can be confirmed.

In spectrometry mode, peaks of Cs134-609keV, Cs137-661keV, and K40-1460keV are observed.
